Lara Houston is the founder of the International Tarot Foundation and a dedicated Tarot educator, mentor and professional reader with a passion for helping others develop confidence, knowledge and ethical practice in Tarot. For many years, Lara has studied and taught Tarot, exploring not only card meanings but the deeper symbolic, psychological and spiritual layers that make Tarot such a powerful tool for self-discovery and personal growth. Her teaching combines traditional Tarot knowledge with an appreciation for symbolism, numerology, astrology and the interconnected systems that enrich a reader's understanding. As the creator of the International Tarot Foundation's Certification Program, Lara has developed a structured learning pathway designed to support students from beginner level through to advanced study. Her approach emphasises practical experience, critical thinking and personal development, encouraging students to become thoughtful and confident readers rather than relying on memorisation alone.
